HRTC or Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation has purchased and introduced a lot of new luxury Volvo buses for various routes in North India. We told you about the Narkanda - Rampur route yesterday (read Delhi-Narkanda-Rampur Volvo article) and another successful new route is that of Haridwar - Dehradun - Manali route Volvo bus service.
The bus is run under 'HRTC Kullu' and takes the route passing via Dehradun, Paonta Sahib, Chandigarh, Bilaspur, Mandi and Kullu. As per HRTC Facebook page, the bus is running at high occupancy and has been welcomed by locals and tourists.
The ticket cost for the journey is Rs 1311
The distance of the journey is 574 km
The running time of the journey is 15 hours
The dinner halt is at Harabagh (one hour after Mandi)

Departure from Haridwar: 6:00 pm
Departure from Dehradoon: 8:20 pm
Departure from Chandigarh sec.43: 1-1:15 am
Arrival at Kullu: 8:30-9:00pm
Arrival at Manali: 9:30-10:00 am approx.
