(CLICK TO ENLARGE)KSRTC (Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation) has one of the largest fleet of Volvo buses. These buses run on one of the longest routes in India like the 1020km Mumbai - Bangalore route.
Recently, it seems, KSRTC has purchased brand new 9400 series buses from Volvo. I recently spotted this bus (seen above) on the Mumbai - Pune expressway. This bus is operating on Bangalore - Mumbai - Bangalore route. What is interesting here is the never before seen emergency exit on the left side. I have yet to sit in one of these to comment on how it operates though.

The only dis.advantage for ksrtc is there are no semi-sleepers for long routes
